I drove out to Ann Arbor last night to look at a 2007 Lexus IS350 with cashiers check in hand. The owner told me it was involved in a minor accident over winter, but the body shop fixed it like new. Well after some investigating we discovered that the body shop used crap aftermarket replacement doors. The doors were poor quality and weren't sealed correctly along the edges. The owner was not happy as he was under the assumption they used OEM parts for his $40k (original cost) car. This was a deal breaker for me.

Oh well, back to searching.

It shall be mine one day.

Did you know that Murano is usually described as an island in the Venetian Lagoon?

I thought it was some kind of animal, interesting.

After 2 years of owning my is350, i'm dumping it the moment my house is done being built in novemeber. It's not the car I expected it to be. Just an FYI.

What is the future car? I have my eyes set on something MUCH LARGER wink.gif

Explain further, did you have any reliability issues?

BMW 740? Audi Q7?

That's what happens when you just let the insurance company handle it, and don't monitor any part of the repair other than dropping off and picking up the vehicle.

Well for one, the car has had zero reliability issues, the engine and drivetrain are rock solid. Sanjays old ls400 is more solid and less rattly of a car than mine. fit and finish sucks. i will most likely be stepping up to a s550.
