i picked it up from a guy off of craigslist for 1200

which engine/trans combo?
it is the 2.8 non-turbo. other than that i do not know shit about this car so any tips or info would be great.
so far the car runs and sounds like it is new."knock on wood" the trim needs to be replaced on the doors, new front seats, and a few other minor things but other than that it is in pretty good condition and i only paid $1200, i would say it is a sweet deal. i am going to try to make it out to the meet next friday if i can.

well done getting out of the Honda's and getting into the German vehicles. they are a little bit more expensive to work on, but all around better to drive.

yea it is kinda nice, though i do not know shit about this car...what are some common things that go wrong with them...as of right now i have to replace a O2 sensor and when i am on the highway and change lanes quickly the front passenger side shakes and makes an ugly noise for a second and then stops and it rides fine any other time...any ideas?

good luck with your audi. I just got rid of a 98 a4 with that 2.8. prolly the worst car/engine I have experienced. tons of motor problems but I hope that u have better luck than I did with my audi.
