All I want is freakin sharks with freakin laser beams attached to their heads! So while I lost my interest in cars, I found a new hobby. Lasers. and I know what ur thinkin, what a nerd!! but just wait. They burn things. people ask my why I do this. I tell them because when the sun goes down, you wont ask me why but where did you buy that and for how much. I have a large array from pen style to a HeNe laser from 1982 thats about 2 feet long. Colors include red, green, blue, violet. I also have uranium glass spheres, and tritium key chains in colors of green blue and white. I have over 10 sources of radiation in my house currently. all at safe levels to handle. so heres a few pics of my addiction.

I played with a 12 foot long, 6" diameter, LNO2 cooled, HeNe i think it was... It'd burn 1" diameter holes through cinder blocks from 30 feet away...

Thats pretty cool. yea mine are not that powerful, but they will burn plastic and rubber very well.

well there is lots of websites to buy lasers. the thing is burning lasers are illegal since the us will only allow 5mW and less. to burn it takes about 100mW. check out http://laserpointerforums.com/
this is what I use to do research. Someone on the forum built me the purple one, which was $150.
