Free LCD TV.Yes it works perfectly.Yes it has a remote. No i wont deliver. Why is it FREE you ask????? My room mate thought it would be "hysterical" to pause gay porn on my TV while my girlfriend and I were on vacation for 2 weeks, thus burning and image into the screen. So...If you dont mind a sillouette of a skinny white guy taking a load in the face from the biggest black penis in recorded history forever adorning your new TV, Its yours.

Nah, LCD Tv's have a burn problem too.

It takes a long time for that to happen on LCD though.

Like, a few days. If someone leaves it on for that long, they're too dumb for technology.
This guys roommate is just an asshole.

So you tell me it takes a long time just so you can disagree, and then you admit that it can burn in the screen in two days.

He never disagreed. He just said it takes longer on LCD's so it's not as big of a problem as it is with Plasma TV's.

waaay too fast. I was super careful the first 1000 hours or so with it. Now i've left it still for a while before and no burn ins.

Yep, LED tv's are named so because of them being an LCD with LED lighting rather than fluorescent lighting. Here's a link with a faq:

Jesus Christ... $1300 for a 32" LED TV (as opposed to $399 for LCD)... No wonder I've never heard of them...
...however, I stand corrected.

The price isn't justified right now. They inflated the shit out of the prices because their margins have shrunk so much on regular LCDs. The only advantage of the LED is the deeper blacks, and edge lit can be stupid thin. Other than that, without spending ridiculous amounts on a custom LED backlit tv with control over individual LEDs, it's not really worth it yet. Either get an LCD, or wait until the price drops on the LED...
