some good quotes that made it.

QUOTE
"How often does this come along?" he says, "... 100 percent justice."

QUOTE
"I've shot squirrels I've felt worse about,"

QUOTE
"The death penalty," the officer says, "is nothing more than sending a defective product back to the manufacturer. Let him fix it."

QUOTE
"I haven't lost three seconds of sleep over it," he says. "... it's true justice."

Tbh I have mixed feelings about the firing squads. I'm all for it. And i think it should strike fear for those that break the laws by killing people.. But If I work for the law, I'd pass the chance to put someone in the ground. To fire at living man tied to a chair is something different for me. It could be cause i'm not desensitized to killing.

I like this one.

QUOTE
"There's just some people we need to kick off the planet."

I support the concept of the death penalty but not our current execution of it (pun very much intended). I still think that the person receiving the death penalty should be able to choose which way they want to go out; hopefully having a choice never gets ruled as cruel and unusual punishment like the offer of becoming a eunuch was.

More states should have the firing squad as an option.

It's of minimal cost to the state.

Ammo is cheap.
Rifles are on hand.
Staff is already there.

I'm with you. According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the cost for the drugs used in lethal injection is $86.08 plus personal. 4 rounds can't be more then a couple dollars.

Supposedly not everyone on the firing squad has live rounds. Only a few of the guys do that way no one knows for sure who actually killed him. Or so ive heard. I didnt read the link tho, So if it says that in their, dont flame me.
