Flying Donkey Found, Examined by Vet

After going missing for a time, the donkey who parachuted over a Russian beach has been found and declared healthy by a veterinarian.

"The veterinarian has come to a conclusion that the animal is clinically healthy," Igor Zhelyabin, a spokesman said in the Daily Telegraph.

A decision on whether the donkey's owner will face animal cruelty charges will be made on Friday, Mr. Zhelyabin said.

The owner, for his part, maintains he did nothing wrong, telling police he thought the stunt was acceptable because everyone who saw the parachuting donkey "was having fun."
